# How to create an Event?

Once you are on the platform as admin user you can create an event where the project and challenges for your team will be located.

Open the “Events” page and click on the “Add event” button

Fill in the title and description in the fields for your new event.

In order to enable specific sandpit types for projects within the event, click the “Enable” button

Once all required data is in place, click on “Create event” button. To make the event visible for users, click on “Publish” button. You can manage the project visibility from “Event Settings” tab later

That’s all. The event is ready to be used for creating projects and challenges for your team
