# How to add a Dataset

**You can add Datasets when creating a Project, and when a Project is running.**

## How to add a Dataset before a Project starts

1. Click **Datasets**:

2. You can view the Datasets, each with a short **summary **and tagged with the **use cases**
3. Click a Dataset to explore more details
4. Click a tab to read the **description**, view documentation, and find **similar**Datasets:

5. When you've made your choice, you can propose a project

## How to add a Dataset when a Project is running

1. Click **Projects** and click the Project where you want to add a Dataset:

2. Click the **Datasets tab > +Add new**:

3. Search for the Dataset and click **Add**:

4. Your selected Dataset now appears under the Datasets tab
